• Natural resource development (Coal Bed Methane and Oil and Gas IMDA agreements)
• Water rights settlements (Crow Tribe State of Montana Water Compact)
• Trust land management (fee to trust applications, land use codes)
• Tribal economic development efforts via tax exempt bond financing and tax credits
• Indian Child Welfare litigation
• State/Tribal agreements including revenue sharing agreements and gaming compacts (worked in California Indian gaming arena with statewide Compact negotiations and California Constitutional Amendment)
• Trust Reform efforts including joint DOI/Tribal workgroups to draft trust reform legislation and regulations; have assisted with drafting the American Indian Probate Reform Act (AIPRA) and the pending regulations to implement the Act.
