Ms. Heather Ready attended and graduated from Carrol College with degrees in Political Science and Public administration. She graduated from the University of Montana Law School in 2007. She is a member of the Montana State Bar and she is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court. Starting in 2007, Ms. Ready worked as an associate attorney at two private law firms in Billings, Montana. She represented clients in the areas of civil litigation, corporate law, estate planning, real estate and probate. In late 2011, Ms. Ready established a solo practice in Billings, Montana. She practiced in the areas of business law, estate planning, criminal defense, dependent neglect, probate and estate administration. Ms. Ready came to work at Elk River Law in 2018, and she is performing the duties of the Laurel City Prosecutor. Additionally, Ms. Ready assists clients in estate planning, civil litigation, business law, probate, and Indian Law matters.
